Oh...is it worth the read?
Sheesh there are like 15 chapters.
Sheesh there are like 15 chapters.
It's worth it if you still don't know or believe that everyone 'famous' is connected-bought and sold.
Intertwined histories on just about all the cool ones of the 60s and 70s-created and promoted.
That still doesn't explain their talents though. I suppose Jim Morrison really had a cadre of writers writing 'Riders on the Storm' for instance?

QUOTE
One of the earliest on the Laurel Canyon/Sunset Strip scene is Jim Morrison, the enigmatic lead singer of The Doors. Jim will quickly become one of the most iconic, controversial, critically acclaimed, and influential figures to take up residence in Laurel Canyon. Curiously enough though, the self-proclaimed “Lizard King” has another claim to fame as well, albeit one that none of his numerous chroniclers will feel is of much relevance to his career and possible untimely death: he is the son, as it turns out, of the aforementioned Admiral George Stephen Morrison.
I've read almost every book written about The Doors and I always found the military connection with JM's father to be interesting (and this was long before my woo woo days).
I've just read part of the first chapter but I'm wondering if Philip Taylor Kramer is mentioned? His father's research coupled with his very strange life (and death) is one of my favorite Los Angeles legends. The guy was into time travel, alternate theories of gravity (?) and the Celestine Prophecy. I've tried several times to find out more information about his father, Ray Kramer, but have ended up at a dead end (other than mention of him in the PTK coverage).
