Hope you all will bear with me here...
For months, I have seen the sleeper/ destiny threads combined, when to me, they are two different animals...
The destiny thread is interesting in ways, but my original point of interest was the first sleeper thread at glp...the two are separate
to me.
Why is that?
Because when I read it the first day posted at glp, it triggered a nightmare.
Interest piqued.
Since then, have read where this term resounds with men also.
... this is not a destiny point of interest, but am wondering if this is a generational/of my time point of interest...
Have been picking up correlations that may allude to that.
Out of respect for JCD and all the Destinians, not trying to take away from their Destiny thread, I am going to post this query to a few boards and settle in at slacker's archetypes sub board.

didn't mean to back off this thread I started,
went out of town for the holiday,
... and am also hesitant and sensing something deeper here...
perhaps I shouldn't go there,
have noticed certain posters to glp, and now the fringe boards,
that report their true life stories,
that kind of correlate with mine
am living in the real world, working at the same place for 17 years
being the quiet kid that sat in the back of the class watching
could run with the popular kids (didn't want to)
could run with the renegades (they didn't fit in with me)
and still at 42 very different and loner
something happened to me when I was 16 that has helped shaped the person that i am now...i hear and understand the "different people's" voices
i've told a few people what happened to me, dj from the dream board, crow, natch and crash from glp
revolving sword from the illuminati board
something happened to me when i was about 16, a trial by fire so to speak
i don't know what it was, but it changed me
have seen others of my generation /born in the sixties, try to explain what happened to them
i believe them
i fought it and won, i know what it is,
...so maybe this is a dangerous avenue for me to follow...
prophet yahweh stated that he first heard voices in his head 25 years ago, ( this is what perked my ears up)
that's the time frame i fought this thing and won

Becky..Have you noticed all of the"crash" references in the media and games? I just came across a black version of some brown shoes I have bought several times because thay are great quality by GBH. Guess what they call that shoe?

I made a Pupp post this a.m. about something last night that I came across on google trollbot search. Yotta check it out. Nuthin big..just a pretty tabbed "hmmm". It has this same title as my "poster ID above.
We are in this together.
I could not find any other submissions by you on the net regarding this. I dont know who slacker is either..so...

BUmping this up because I'm interested in discussing Destiny a archtype myself.
You brought up something interesting, becky--I had a similar moment about 24 years ago that changed my life forever, too, though in a quieter way perhaps--same time frame, though, and that's what I found interesting.
Do you think there were a group of people this happened to for some reason? That some of them found each other on the destiny threads maybe? Would be interested to here more from you.
You've created a compelling image in my head--a group of people from all over having a moment with God that changed their lives, going out to search for more info about it or to understand it better, being alone a long time and then suddenly finding each other in what seems almost like a happenstance way--but it was meant to be this way.
Something to think and pray about, that's for sure!
