Short story writing contest, sponsored by Devon. Judged by others.

Your picture prompt for the story is this:



The desert, a caravanne, shadows of men and beasts, endless dunes, a strange Arab named Ayoub Al-Samir.

Rules: Must be original and no longer than 2000 words.

If the forum, through its votes, chooses and actual winner for an actual story---and not just some spew about nipple clamps or whatever, I will forward SAS $50 USD.

Let the picture provoke your imagination.

The dusty caravan came out from behind the swirling dunes and there was the modern 10 lane freeway where the caravan was promptly hit by a bus.

I wish they would pin this message, Sugar. I'm serious about a contest. I would like to read some other peoples stories.

I did ride a camel once. No big deal. If they don't like you, they spit on you and it burns.
