I don't think I've ever had a volcano disaster dream until this morning but man was it vivid! And disastrous!
It took place in Australia and I kept seeing flashes of the caldera juxtaposed with almost satellite-like images of the entire planet - the shape of which was going to be significantly altered by this incredible natural disaster.
I just looked at a map of Australia and even though I've never been there I think the dream took place in New South Wales.
Very weird dream! I can tell it's going to be one of those I have a hard time getting out of my head today.

I dreamed that we were having to eat grass last night for food...
And the Lord wasn’t jokin’ when he kicked ‘em out of Eden;
it wasn’t for no reason that he shed his blood.
His return is very close and so you better be believin’
that our God is an awesome God!
The way of the future is Jesus
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women...men of corrupt minds, reprobate..2 Timothy 3
Hey don't look at me, I'm just a lunatic who thinks
assault them astrally, remember?Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you. Isaiah 41:24

No, I don't think so.
I think it had to do with droughts and famine and such.

Now that's interesting . . .
Talk about dreams blending!
What do horses eat? Well, I know . . . hay . . . but grass as well?

There was a Proxy Whore "character" in my dream who played the part of the travel agent in my volcano dream. Weird stuff, dreams.

Becky
I just got home from dinner. Did you have the dream this morning (Saturday morning as it's still Saturday night here).
It was so vivid -
It started at about 6:00 a.m. (I had gotten up and then laid back down) and continued for two hours or so once I went back to sleep. Very detailed.
The caldera (I believe) is the top of the volcano where the eruptions occur. I will look up some Google photos if I get a chance tonight. I wish I could see what you saw in your dream . . . very odd indeed.
Good night (I have a feeling you're already gone for the night).

Becky -
I'm about to fall asleep right now.
I'll re-read your post tomorrow and do some searching.
Weird times, eh?
(and you better not push me away

| Volcanic centers of New Zealand. New Zealand contains the world's highest concentration of youthful rhyolitic volcanoes and extensive sheets of pyroclastic flow deposits. New Zealand, along with Indonesia, leads the world in the abundance of calderas as primary volcanic features. Map modified from Nairn and Cole (1975). |

New Zealand had a feature called The Pink and White Terraces, which were destroyed in the eruption of Mt. Tarawera in 1886.
