[Tree Hugger]

Hello Seekers and those who see with different eyes.....love to you all.


I hear the far off thunder. It’s explosive crack sends tiny creatures scurrying across the fields. The dark clouds like escorts, leading the march across the sky. Outside I go, into the open places, to watch the pageant approach to the sound of rumbling drums. I to go greet my brothers in the wind, because everything is my loved companion, and that which does not love me, does not approach me.

I relish not caring what the world thinks, but only that I have the courage to not care, and to see the closeness of even the invisible to me. For once I read that my native ancestors, called all nature brother and called the earth their mother, and that closeness, struck a chord in my heart, that like a song keeps playing over and over in my heart.

So I whispered it to the stars one velvet night, and they answered me with unheard words. Your family is everywhere to be seen and unseen at the same time. For what you perceive as cold is warm, and what to you is far is near, and that which appears uncaring, is caring. It was then my heart began to reach out to the cosmos.

So, now I am of the clouds and of the rain and of the snow and of the earth, and I am in all the human hearts who will allow me in, and those who will not, who look at me and shake their head, and hold up their hands to wave me away, are still part of us.

The thunderheads, like leaders of the parade with large base drum announcing their arrival. I bow as they pass with humility and thankfulness for the water of life.

The slight pain in the back of my neck is from looking up so long, but my brothers are riveting and most welcome. If they did not march across the heart breaking blue sky, life would cease in the desert plain. The rabbit would starve, the birds would fly away and thirst would grip the land.

But here they are, announcing with loud proclamation, that they are bringers of life. When the clouds burst and life flows down, the world sees water but I see my brothers bringing love. I smile at what is concealed from the eye but seen with the heart. Neither do they discriminate, but they bring life to the grateful and the uncaring.

The stars reveal, the Great Spirit hides in all things, even within the stars themselves, and in the rabbit and the clouds. When forgetfulness crept over the land, humanity drifted away from their family and the music stopped playing in their hearts. Their family disappeared from their eyes, only because they no longer could see them. But I see them, and join with and flow with them.

Those who say, the spider does not contain the wisdom of the Father and Mother within them, have never considered the spider, weaving her web of geometry, or seen five hundred birds turn in syncopation as once, or seen a cat land on its feet. Everything The Eternal Father and Mother creates, is perfect in form and function, each atom a masterpiece, and all hooked together in an endless chain of life. If you live, you contain atoms, and you are part of the chain of life.
