YEHUDA Glick is a 44-year-old US-born Jew who spends the greater part of every day preparing for the arrival of the Messiah in Jerusalem.

Since becoming executive director of the Temple Institute, Mr Glick's main task has been to supervise the manufacture of the utensils needed by the high priests when the day arrives.

Crowns and other instruments made of solid gold fill glass cases in the Temple Institute Museum in Jerusalem's Old City. There are trumpets made of silver and garments to be worn by the high priest woven from golden thread. Handmade harps and lyres lie ready for the Messiah's appearance.

So, when can we expect this momentous event?

''That is a very good question,'' Mr Glick told The Age this week.

''All that we know is that we are now living in the age of miracles, and all of those miracles are predicted in the Book as happening on the eve of the end of days,'' he said. ''It could well be tomorrow, but it might be another 100 years, or even 400 years.''

We are sitting in the Quarter Cafe in the Jewish sector of the Old City, overlooking the most contested religious site on Earth.

Jews call it the Temple Mount, or Mount Moriah, and believe it to be the site of the Foundation Stone, where God gathered the dust to create Adam.

Muslims call it al-Haram al-Sharif, or the Noble Sanctuary, and believe it to be the spot from which the prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven on his miraculous night journey. According to Judaism, the Temple Mount is also the site of the first temple constructed by King Solomon. After it was destroyed, a second temple was built around 500BC, and stood for 500 years before it was destroyed by the Romans.

Judaism holds that a third temple will be built upon the arrival of the Messiah. ''That is why we have engaged two architects,'' says Mr Glick. ''It will be a modern building, with car parks and elevators, but it will look very much like the second temple.'' The museum contains a scale model of this third temple.

Today, the site is dominated by the al-Aqsa Mosque and the golden-topped Dome of the Rock. The Old City is in East Jerusalem, territory occupied by Israel in June 1967 and subsequently annexed by the state, a move that has never been legally recognised by the international community.

''Al-Aqsa can stay,'' says Mr Glick. ''It's not even on the Temple Mount proper. But we intend to just build over the Dome of the Rock. We might be able to find a way to include it in the third temple.''

Since its foundation, the Temple Institute has become a fixture for Americans on evangelical tours of Israel. Thanks largely to their donations, the Temple Institute has so far spent $US27 million ($A29 million) on preparations.

''We started with $US100,'' says Mr Glick. ''There are 70 million evangelical Christians around the world, and most of them have become Israel's strongest supporters.''

Mr Glick is interrupted by the arrival of another US tour group. Among them is Johnnie Butler, a retiree from Missouri on his first visit to the Holy Land.

''I would be willing to die for Israel,'' Mr Butler told The Age. ''Ever since I was saved by Jesus, I have been praying for the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland.''

Ordinarily, the state of Israel prevents Jews from visiting the Temple Mount. It's considered so sensitive that when then Israeli opposition leader Ariel Sharon visited with hundreds of Israeli riot police in September 2000, it sparked a wave of violence that came to be known as the second (or al-Aqsa) intifada, or ''uprising''.

''This 'Temple Institute' is a right-wing extremist movement interested in nothing more than provocation,'' says Khatem Abdel Qader, the Palestinian Authority minister in charge of Jerusalem affairs.

''We will vigorously defend our right to manage this site. No amount of insulting behaviour from these people will succeed in removing us.''

Hebrews 12:1-2 (New International Version)

Hebrews 12
God Disciplines His Sons
1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Christian Zionist Calls the Temple Mount Conflict a Warning Sign

Recent events in Jerusalem are signs of coming conflict according to Christian Zionist Les Lawrence.

Sandpoint (PRWEB) November 17, 2009 -- When violent confrontation between Muslims and Jews in late October reignited on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Les Lawrence of Elisha Vision (www.elishavision.com), called the incident “a warning sign of the end times.” According to Robert Berger writing from Jerusalem (10/25/09), the conflict began when young Muslims, incited by senior members of the Islamic Movement, barricaded themselves inside the Al Aqsa Mosque in protest of Jews praying on the Temple Mount. Berger wrote that the “Israeli Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen blamed Islamic leaders in Israel for fomenting the violence.”

The Associated Press reported that Israeli police fired stun grenades in a face-off with “masked Palestinians hurling stones and chairs outside the Holy Land’s most volatile shrine.”

In all, 26 people were injured including 9 officers and 21 Palestinians were arrested.

“Virtually all Jews reject the concept that only Muslims can pray on the Mount because it is Holy to them,” Lawrence said in an interview. “For a Jew to be banned from praying on the site is like banning Catholics from praying at the Vatican.” In an analysis provided by Matthew Wagner to the Jerusalem Post (10/26/09) Israel’s sovereignty over the Temple Mount and east Jerusalem resulted from the Six Day War in 1967. The right to pray in the Al Aqsa Mosque was granted to Palestinians by then Israeli Prime Minister Levi Eshkol. Wagner cited Rabbi Alon Goshen-Gottstein, Director of Elijah Interfaith Institute as saying, “We are suffering today for the wrong policies we adopted after the Six Day War.”

Lawrence said, “Virtually all Jews reject the concept that only Muslims can pray on the Mount because it is Holy to them. For a Jew to be banned from praying on the site is like banning Catholics from praying at the Vatican.”

“Jerusalem is considered a Holy City by all 3 of the world’s monotheistic religions: Jews, Muslims and Christians,” he said. “Virtually all Palestinian Muslims believe East Jerusalem will be their capital once Israel is overcome and a majority [of Muslims] believes all of Jerusalem and all of Israel will one day be theirs.”

Lawrence pointed to a statement uttered 4 years ago by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth, saying it was "because Israel sits in the middle of the face of Islam like a boil. Islam’s goal of world domination is contradicted by Israel’s very existence.”

Lawrence considers himself a voice of Christian Zionists worldwide. He is author of Prophesy to the Land, a book published in 1994 about the key role of Jerusalem in the last days. His newest book, Generation Last, is due in January 2010. Lawrence said that Isaiah centuries ago wrote that Satan’s ultimate goal would be to set up his throne on the Temple Mount and claim it as his own just before the end."

That Old Testament prophecy is significant according to Lawrence because, “A series of last-day battles leading to Armageddon could be triggered by Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear reactors, by a Palestinian intifada on the Mount, by a blow-up in Gaza or the West Bank by Hamas, or by an attack from Hezbollah in Lebanon.

“The point is we’ve got to wake up. The bell has rung,” said Lawrence. “I believe the coming fight has already started and is unstoppable. We’re seeing many signs of the coming world conflict as prophesized by Isaiah nearly 2500 years ago.”

The Temple Institute In Jerusalem Has Spent Approximately 27 Million Dollars On Preparations For The Rebuilding Of The Jewish Temple

The Temple Institute In Jerusalem Has Spent Approximately 27 Million Dollars On The Rebuilding Of The Jewish Temple

We live at a time when the signs of the last days are literally being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. One of the most exciting signs that Bible prophecy students love to keep an eye on are preparations for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple. In a previous article, we discussed how the Temple Institute in Jerusalem took a giant step towards the rebuilding of the Temple by beginning to rebuild the sacrificial altar. Now it has been revealed that the Temple Institute has already spent approximately 27 million dollars on preparations for the rebuilding of the Temple, and that the Temple Institute intends for this future Temple to be a house of prayer for all "monotheistic religions".

The executive director of the Temple Institute, Yehuda Glick, says that a large portion of the financial support for the Temple Institute actually comes from evangelical Christians.....

''There are 70 million evangelical Christians around the world, and most of them have become Israel's strongest supporters.''

So what have all these funds gone towards so far? Well, the truth is that the Temple Instituted has been extremely busy. The Temple Institute Museum in Jerusalem's Old City contains solid gold service vessels, trumpets made of silver, garments to be worn by future priests made from golden thread, copper urns and many, many other items that have been painstakingly designed to Biblical specifications for use in the future Temple.

So when will this Temple be built?

According to Glick, it will depend on when the Messiah shows up.....

''It could well be tomorrow, but it might be another 100 years, or even 400 years.''

Most Christians understand that Judaism believes that the third temple will be built upon the arrival of the Messiah, but what most Christians do not realize is that the Temple Institute envisions a future Temple that will be "a house of prayer open to all believers in the monotheistic faiths" - Christians, Muslims or Jews.

In fact, Glick says that the Al-Aqsa mosque does not need to be removed for the new Temple to be built.

''Al-Aqsa can stay,'' Glick is quoted in The Age as saying. ''It's not even on the Temple Mount proper. But we intend to just build over the Dome of the Rock. We might be able to find a way to include it in the third temple.''

As surprising as this may be to many evangelical Christians, the truth is that Glick is far from alone in this belief.

For example, A stunning article that was published in the leading journal of religious law in Israel envisioned a scenario under which a "holy revelation" is given to an "authentic prophet" who would authorize that the Temple be rebuilt in peaceful proximity to the Al-Aqsa mosque and nearby Christian shrines. This article echoed Glick's sentiments by discussing the potential for turning the Temple Mount into "God's Holy Mountain" - a "house of prayer" for all people (Isaiah 56:7).

In fact, there is even a Jewish website promoting a vision of "God's Holy Mountain" where all faiths would worship together:

This website depicts a harmonious future for the Temple Mount where Muslims, Christians and Jews mingle and pray between the Dome of the Rock and a rebuilt Jewish Temple.

This project is headed up by Jewish members of the Interfaith Encounter Association. This organization is actively encouraging all three religions to adopt a new theological outlook which would allow all three faiths to worship on the Temple mount.

Of course those of us who study the Scriptures know what God would think about such plans.

But could the Antichrist someday pose as the Jewish Messiah and use such expectations to promote the use of the rebuilt Temple for his one world religion?

It is something to think about.

In any event, preparations for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple are heating up as never before, and as students of the prophecies of the last days this is something that we need to continually keep an eye on.

What do you think about all of this? As always, we welcome your comments and your questions.....

The rebuilt Temple is the place of the Antichrist. Only the really faithful and good Jews will see through this charade.

Evangelical Christians have been sold a pig in a poke - they have been brainwashed into supporting Jewish worldwide criminality when traditional Christianity always recognized that the Jews contniue to reject GOD and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. In this context, they are even worse than all the Gentile hoardes who reject Jesus Christ for He was sent to save the Jews!

All these charming little groups and their leaders and ardent supporters should be flown to some desert area and allowed to wipe each other out.
What a wonderful world it would then be.

"We will have to kill them all": Effie Eitam, thug messiah

By Jim Holstun and Irene Morrison
The Electronic Intifada
Monday, Nov 30, 2009

Colonel Efraim (Fein) Eitam was only following orders when he told his troops to beat Ayyad Aqel in 1988. They beat him to death.

Eitam, who since then has held several senior posts in the Israeli government, has recently toured the US as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's "Special Emissary" to the "Caravan for Democracy" program of the Jewish National Fund (JNF). This is a marriage made in heaven. Since Israel was founded, the JNF has organized the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and the settlement of Jews on their expropriated land; Eitam sees himself as the messianic soldier-prophet directing future expulsions of Palestinians from Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Hillel of Buffalo, New York, invited Eitam to speak at our campus, the University at Buffalo (UB), on the recommendation of UB Professor Ernest Sternberg, a board member of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East and a founder of its local campus chapter.

In February 1988, Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin discreetly told the Israeli army to break the bones of Palestinians rising up during the first Palestinian intifada. According to the testimony of Israeli soldiers, Colonel Eitam relayed the message to his Givati Brigade, then occupying Gaza. On 7 February, he ordered four of them to break the bones of two brothers from al-Bureij refugee camp. They cuffed and blindfolded them, beat them for a while in their own home, then took them to a secluded olive grove, where they kicked and beat them for 20 minutes. Khalid Aqel survived; his 21-year-old brother Ayyad died. In 1990, an Israeli court martial convicted these soldiers of assault, reduced their ranks, gave suspended sentences to three, and sentenced the fourth to two months ("Soldier jailed for intifada killing will sue Rabin," Guardian, 2 November 1990).

Eitam's soldiers testified he had ordered and participated in the Givati beatings. He admitted driving around Gaza with four batons in his jeep, including a shatter-proof, non-regulation knout made of thick rope. The army judges found that Eitam's "violent behavior became the norm, and was taken as an example by those under his command" ("Soldier Sentenced for Palestinian Beatings," Associated Press, 31 October 1990; "Givati Commander Denies Telling Men to 'Break Bones'", The Jerusalem Post, 23 February 1990; "Givati 4 Are Convicted", The Jerusalem Post, 2 October 1990). Still, he received no judgment for almost two years. Then, on 13 July 1992, Rabin became prime minister, and three days later, Eitam got off with a reprimand and a recommendation against promotion. The Jerusalem Post quotes sources suggesting that his likely appeal to Israel's high court of any conviction might have implicated his higher-ups, including Rabin, in the beatings and murders ("Effi Fein Reprimanded to Prevent Him Appealing to Supreme Court", 19 July 1992).

Nevertheless, when Ehud Barak became Rabin's general staff chief, he promoted Eitam to brigadier general. In December 2000, after Rabin's death, Barak's successor Shaul Mofaz refused to promote Eitam to the general staff. Chafing at the slight, Eitam gave an incendiary anti-Oslo lecture at Bar-Ilan University. He called Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat "a miserable murderer," attacked the government for sharing control of Jerusalem, and proposed a new Nakba, or dispossession: the Israeli army "can tomorrow ... conquer Judea, Samaria [the West Bank], and the Gaza Strip and expel the population there overnight. It's not a problem to do this. We have a problem of having the will to do this. As a nation we are inhibited" ("Eitam quits IDF", The Jerusalem Post, 27 December 2000).

Shortly thereafter, Eitam resigned from the army, but his career flourished. Elected to the Knesset in February 2003, he helped form the National Religious Party and the Renewed Religious National Zionist Party. In 2002-04 he held several cabinet-level portfolios in the government of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, including minister of housing and construction, a post he used to accelerate settlement in the Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

In a long interview with the Israeli daily Haaretz, Eitam called Palestinian citizens of Israel a "ticking bomb" and a "cancer" ("Dear God, this is Effi", 20 March 2002). Nations other than Israel are a "world of robots without souls." In classic fascist fashion, he stated that in war the most "sublime things in man appear." He seems to believe that he is the Messiah, saying his mission is "to save the people of Israel and the State of Israel." Such a leader, Eitam said, "also leads the Jewish people. He stands in the place where not only Ben-Gurion stood, but where Moses, too, stood. Where King David stood. So how does one do that, yet remain modest? How does one not get lost between coalition agreements and political intrigues, and a process that involves the very order of nature and the order of the heavens and the earth?" ("Continuation of Dear God, this is Effi", Haaretz, 20 March 2002).

But this modest Messiah isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Unchastened by the killing of Aqel, Eitam has continued his racist and violent incitement. At a 2002 address in a Tel Aviv synagogue, Eitam called for the murder of then Palestinian Authority leader Yasser Arafat, along with the rest of his colleagues: "If I [could] give the order now, he would be dead in 15 minutes, together with his whole gang." Of former Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade leader Marwan Barghouti, then being investigated by Israel in preparation for trial, Eitam suggested Israel should just "Take him out to an orchard and shoot him in the head" ("NRP leader Eitam: Arafat, Barghouti should be killed", The Jerusalem Post, 5 July 2002).

In typical colonial fashion he has called Palestinians "creatures who came out of the depths of darkness" who were "collectively guilty" and who could be indiscriminately killed not only if they had "blood on their hands" but because of "the evil in their heads." "We will have to kill them all," he said ("A Reporter at Large: Among the Settlers", The New Yorker, 31 May 2004).

Eitam has repeatedly called for the wholesale expulsion of Palestinians, seeing a 2002 Israeli assault on the West Bank as an opportunity to force them into Jordan, leaving "our Jewish conscience ... clean" ("Israeli nationalist hopes to persuade the country to expel Palestinians, Associated Press, 7 April 2002). In 2006, he stated: "We will have to expel the great majority of the Arabs of Judea and Samaria [the West Bank]" ("Leftist MKs blast Eitam's statements on Arabs", Haaretz, 11 September 2006).

Addressing Arab Knesset members in 2008, he said, "the day will come when we will banish you from this house ... and from the national home. ... You ... should be expelled to Gaza, where your people, who are fighting us, dwell; that is where you belong" ("Security around MK Eitam boosted after anti-Arab speech", Ynet, 15 April 2008). During Israel's attacks on Gaza last winter, Eitam advocated mass transfer of Gaza civilians and turning the Strip into a "free hunting zone" ("Audio Exclusive: One Jerusalem Interview with Israeli General Effie Eitam (Res)", One Jerusalem, 7 January 2009).

The Israeli press has documented other staggering statements by Eitam: on the Israeli army's "very moral" but also fatal use of Jenin teenager Nidal Abu Muhsein as a human shield; his demand that Israel "declare war" on Palestinian citizens of Israel living in the Negev; and his calls for outlawing commemoration of the Nakba; executing Israeli politicians who favor returning occupied territories to Palestinians; and "decapitating" Hamas leaders.

Eitam's visit protested

When University at Buffalo community members asked Hillel to cancel Eitam's meeting because of his previous violence and hate speech and the damage his visit would do to local interfaith efforts, it refused. Hillel and other Eitam supporters responded that the scrupulously-documented charges made against him were a "medieval blood libel"; that Eitam never said or did these things; that he was misquoted (he seems to be misquoted a lot) or quoted out of context; that the leading Israeli newspapers reporting his words and deeds were part of a vast left-wing conspiracy; and that even if Eitam did say and do these things, he represents an important sector of Israeli opinion that should be heard.

On 2 November, Hillel held a noon meeting with Eitam for University at Buffalo students. Before the talk, one Eitam supporter talked with another about killing a protestor, while third called out to a student wearing a headscarf, "Why don't you go blow yourself up?" Eitam's speech consisted of a tirade about Iran, Hamas and Hizballah, and how efforts to make peace with them all failed, and "withdrawal" from Gaza was also a failure. Eitam compared Israel's actions to the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, explaining that [US President] Truman had to "incinerate 200,000 people in a second" to protect American troops. When challenged repeatedly by one of us why he has made racist statements such as calling Palestinian citizens of Israel a "cancer," Eitam simply denied ever having said them and insisted his words had been taken "far out of context" ("Hillel Student to Arab Student: "Why don't you go blow yourself up?", The Buffalo Activist, 2 November 2009).

Eitam also spoke at a packed evening lecture. Hillel President Dan Lenard began by denouncing the "fascists" who had presented critical information about Eitam. Consistent with his earlier performance, Eitam's speech was a mish-mash of Arab-hating, Israel-boosting, and bare-faced lies. He insisted that Iran constitutes an unprecedented existential threat, and indeed, he has been calling for an attack on Iran since at least 2006 ("MK Eitam: Strike Iran now", Ynet, 18 May 2006). Astonishingly, he said Iran sponsored al-Qaeda's attacks. And again he compared the course taken by the US with Hiroshima and Nagasaki to the course the US and Israel should take with Iran.

But Eitam couldn't completely forget his favorite enemies. He claimed that Palestinians fled Palestine in 1947-48 on the broadcast orders of Arab leaders -- a claim long discredited. He said that a steady barrage of Hamas-fired Qassam rockets prompted the Gaza massacre, though Israeli sources, including Ehud Olmert's press spokesman, demonstrate that Hamas ceased all rocket fire between 19 June and 4 November 2008, when Israelis infiltrated Gaza and killed six Hamas activists. Palestinians on the West Bank, he says, are desperate for Israel to maintain the occupation and protect them from Hamas.

It was not a memorable performance. Eitam left the hall with a posse of three armed guards (or so a supporter reports) and a few diehard supporters. Outside the event, 40 students and community members protested Eitam's presence on campus; they had been alerted by UB Students for Justice in Palestine and the Palestine-Israel Committee of the Western New York Peace Center. A few Eitam supporters spat at protesters or yelled "terrorists!" but more passers-by joined in with the protest.

Eitam's policies may not ultimately be much different from those of, say, former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni. But there is an air of desperation in organizing a US tour by such an unmanicured monster. On the other hand, the quickly-organized protest was one of the most spirited in recent UB memory. As the recent actions against former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in New Orleans, the University of Kentucky, the University of Arkansas, the University of Chicago and in San Francisco suggests, Israeli war criminals can no longer count on respectful US campus forums for state-funded propaganda tours. There's something in the air.

Returning to Our Roots
We are living at a time when the Lord is calling both Jews and Christians back to their biblical roots. The biblical root of Christianity grew from an everlasting covenant God made with Abraham. Christians become part of that covenant through faith in Jesus.
There were 2,000 years of Hebrew history, culture, language, traditions and customs that formed the root of Christianity. We may not like it nor want to acknowledge it, but Christianity is nourished from that Hebraic/Jewish root.

A Jewish rabbi from Tarsus, known as the apostle Paul, wrote these words to the Christians in Rome, "Do not boast against the branches (Jews). But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root (the Hebraic origins of our faith), but the root supports you (Christianity) (Romans 11:18)." The root is the origin, the cause, the source that establishes and gives life to that which is attached to the root. The more we can learn about our Hebraic/Jewish roots, the more blessed we will be in our Christian lives.

when traditional Christianity always recognized that the Jews contniue to reject GOD and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

Islam/Hindus/Pagans/Buddists all reject Jesus.

The jews will eventually come to recognise Jesus as their Messiah.

In this context, they are even worse than all the Gentile hoardes who reject Jesus Christ for He was sent to save the Jews!

Temple Institute has spent 27 million dollars on preparations for the rebuilding of the Temple

While multitudes of people from evey nation and tongue shall be saved through Jesus Christ, only a handful of Jews will. You really have to read your Bible as a whole, not a pick and choose to support your personal and political beliefs.

You ignore everything you do not like - how about those "Jews" who spit on the Christians there in Israel? They SPIT on them. Imagine if Christians went around SPITTING on Jews in the USA - let's all do that and see how it goes. You have also ignored the plea from the Christian churches and homeowners in Palestine which was posted here.

Your support of "Jews" who are illuminati, kabbalistic, Talmuldic and Satan-worhsipping amounts to an disowning of Christians which is not something that God has done, but men like you who undermine Christianity with falsehoods in alignment with the infiltrating illuminist, kabbalistic and satan-worshipping false ministers of the Christian "churches".

You even posted your predominantly Jewish pov yesterday that anything anyone says questioning Jewish behavior or Israel is an "attack on Jews", that they are "obsessed" and "against jews". You sound just like every little paid JIDF poster from Israel screaming Nazi and anti-semite all over the internet if anyone is perceived as not 100% in favor of all things Israel - and no one anywhere cares.

Every one of these evangelical Christians is stupid for giving a thin dime to build the Talmudic temple. From a financial point of view, they are ignorant of the 70 of the top 100 bilionaires in the world are Jews, of the banking scams that have gone on for centuries now like a python strangling its prey to accumulate all worldly wealth unto the Jews, of the political infiltration by Jews in most every country where they steal the people's money and funnel it to Israel. If their lying ministers told them the truth and they had the wits to understand the derivatives scam, they would not give them anything. Let Rothschilds and Soros and the rest build their own temple for their Antichrist. If these evangelicals even understood that this Antichrist will arise from the Jews who will by then truly completely control the world's economies and political machines, they would be shocked. They are unwittingly tithing to the Antichrist system which will slaughter them for their faith in Jesus Christ if they actually have any such faith. It is their own millionaire false ministers who will also be supporting the Antichrist. People are very deceived.
