Sea of Light

When you can see the humor and the wisdom in life and feel as if you are the captain of your own ship, it is because you have already dropped off your negative crewmembers, at the nearest port.
A ship cannot have more than one captain.

If you can face, both life and death, without fear standing beside you, ready to take over the wheel, then you have found your isle of the blessed.

What need has a strong captain for unruly and troublesome crewmembers? What voyages into troubled waters awaits the captain and ship, driven by jealousy, anger, arrogance, hate and greed.
Jealousy is never happy and grumbles as you send it packing.
Anger and hate jumped ship before you crossed into the sea of light and greed found nothing for himself and stole a small boat to find a less watchful captain.

Congratulations to you, mariner of mind, if the only crewmembers you have left are hope, love, bravery trust and loyalty.
Hope will never allow you to forget you are born to light; an heir to a fortune in spirit.
Love will see you through with a heart, light as a feather.
Bravery will stand next to you like a sure and certain wind speeding you along to your destination.
Trust, is the twin brother of Love, and where one goes the other goes.
Loyalty stands ever ready, never doubting the trip will be a success.
They will serve you well as you travel to infinite shores on the sea of light, which cannot be navigated without these five.

For other ships with mixed crews have run aground in such heavy seas because the crew was brawling on the deck, or bickering, or plotting revenge. The cowards can always be found below deck hiding in shadows. Here, whispers of hidden conspiracy fuel the lamps of suspicion. Mutiny walks such a deck with narrow eyes.
But when wisdom hires such servants as these five, the course is straight and true and the watch in the night never sleeps and comrades link arms in the face of adversity.

With all lanterns lit, the ship becomes itself light, and the both the sea and the ship become one. This is the pathway to stars and home.

“Most things in the world, as long as their inner parts are hidden, live…..when a mans intestines aren’t exposed he lives, but if they become exposed he dies. If a trees roots become exposed it dies……as long as the root of wickedness is hidden it is strong. When it is recognized it dissolves………..Jesus pulled out the root of the whole place while others only did it partially…..as for ourselves, let each one dig down after the root of evil which is within one’s heart from the root. It will be plucked out if we recognize it. But if we are ignorant of it, it takes root in us and produces its fruit in our heart.


“It masters us and we are its slaves….it makes us do what it wants and what we do want, we don’t do…..It is powerful because we have not recognized it. Ignorance is the mother of all evil. Knowledge is freedom and the truth will set you free.”
