Worst I ever remember being in was 102 in LA that lasted a couple of days. Pretty bad.
I had to just walk across the street to the store for a minute. Thought I was gonna die.

It got to 109 F here in August a few years ago. Of course, that was immediately after our central air went down.

We got a window unit right away, natch. When it gets really sticky, we use one of the standing fans directed out the window to reduce the humidity and the other pointed at the ceiling in the central hallway to keep the air circulating.

Humidity is insanely high here all summer. It's like living in a full-body sweatsock all the damn time. The boys don't even want to go outside once the temperature hits the high 80s because the humidity is killer.
