Did some googling but haven't come across what I dreamt of last night: old bones
It wasn't in context with anything, didn't seem bad, just 2 really old bones that looked like those old bones in the churches in Portugal.
Like a religious relic.
One was longer than the other.
When I saw them, I thought skull and bones without the skull, but somehow I don't think that's right.
Does anyone have an idea of what they could represent to the sub c?

hi, speaking straight from the hip i thought of ancestral. perhaps the two bones represent two lines of your ancestry. you mentioned portugal. do you have a link there that you dont know of?
or, another, more literal interp, you know the saying about having skeletons in your closet?
maybe more clues will be forthcoming

Live from Italy,
Thank you for responding
I hope you don't mind my posting my dream to your thread, what you were describing,
the Pope doing a ritualized going into St Peter's crypt
it seemed to tie into what I was shown
perhaps i was dreaming this as you were posting the article...
I am now curious as to what St. Peter's remains consist of, are they just two bones after
all these years?
Anyway, just wanted to tell you that your articles are interesting, thank you for sharing :)

HKBKG, I don't think I can help much, but I hope you get a good answer...

I began reading that Jung book you recommended, yesterday. Do you concur with his belief that our dreams are OUR unconsious sending messages to OUR conscious? Ergo, our dreams are always a pointer to something about us?

Merl, I think that may be the case. However, the collective conscious is multi-dimensional (as has all been discovered in quantum physics.)
That means it is without time or space and contains all possibilities. Premonition dreams tap into a possible future stream. That's why they sometimes don't come true and sometimes they do.

Here is what I found, HKBKG.

Bones
To see bones in your dream, suggests the discovery of your personal, family, or cultural secrets. It is also symbolic of your underlying strengths that you have not yet recognized.
It appears to correlate with what LIVE! From Italy posted above.

heck no, i dont mind you posted your dream on my post about the ritutals going down in the crypt, i love hearing about dreams, i pay attention to mine and i find that i do sometimes tap into info about people and the world which seeps through the collective sieve of mass consciousness.
perhaps there is a clue with portugal and st peters' bones or the cath church rituals. investigate. maybe we will all benefit from what you discover. and perhaps you will have another that relates to this one that will hold a key that will unlock its meaning
im thinking that maybe we should start a dream thread here. ive been having a lot lately, during all of this pope mania, that seems to point to a past life of mine here in italy. i was a religious person, extremely devote. something must have gone down because i really hold a strong disdain for this institution and i am so reminded of it daily being that i live in an area now where there is a church on every block, sometimes two. and the BELLS!those damn bells! they wake me up every morning, sometimes at 7am on saturday's and sunday's.

Bones
To see bones in your dream, suggests the discovery of your personal, family, or cultural secrets. It is also symbolic of your underlying strengths that you have not yet recognized.
To dream of broken bones, signifies that you have discovered or realized that there is a weakness in your plans or in your thinking. Your dream may call for you immediate attention to a particular situation or relationship.
