Attempts to guilt or shame another into behaving the way one wishes is nothing but a control mechanism used by those who feel incapable of being who they want to be in order to feel comfortable with their own choices. Misery loves company. A truly free being allows others to be exactly who they are. All social controls are born of fear and I can hear you saying, "but if everyone could just be however they wanted to be it would be a chaotic and dangerous world". It already is and it's the fear-born controlling behaviors causing it.

Try to find pleasure in the lack of noise.
Sometimes peace and quiet is a good thing.
And it's only one click away from the drama.

When the wind blows, sometimes it's best to take cover and wait for it to blow over. Conversely, it may be advantageous to utilize the gales and gusts to exercise your sense of discernment and possibly even your sense of humor in the face of blustery days.

When the wind blows...

You visit at strange times these days.
Are you thinking a lot?

My days tend to be filled with appointments and starting this week it's job hunting. I'll start school in winter. I put in my admissions application and will take my placement tests in a few weeks or so.

I changed my mind about librarian. I was in the counseling office and read a brochure on horticulture. I think I'm going for that instead. If it gets boring or I find I don't like it in general, then I'll go back to work on my MLS. I would like to play in the dirt all day and come home to read more than play with books all day and come home to the dirt. Gardening and books are my favorite things.

Ethel, I think about a lot of things, but it always ends up with the thought that what I did and how my life's going right now is exactly what was needed for my whole family. That's the good part. The bad part is looking for a job and an apartment.

How have you been lately? Has it cooled off in your area yet?

You can lead a whore to culture, but you can't make her cast her pearls before swine.
24.gif The coffee is kicking in now.

You do exactly what you want to do, you have nothing to lose.
As you said, you can always go on to librarian stuff, but I think you'll be happier with horticulture. Seriously.
You'll get everything you need by being positive and knowing that it will happen.

I have had a pressure/sinus/exploding type headache for 3 days now, even while sleeping. I don't like it much.

I'm trying not to worry about my fragile existence. Just trying to enjoy each peaceful day as I live it. It's not easy for me not to worry.
One foot in front of the other.....

The heat is gone. Today it's cool and cloudy.

I'll take your knowing and raise it by believing. So true. thumb.gif

Knowing and forgetting can go hand in hand. Having the reminders sure are nice.

You should write it down somewhere.
I won't be around forever.
