Man of Reflection
Oh how I wonder what will happen...

After my body is only bones, then dust...then forgotten forever.

These two words struck my mind deeply.

Banality

Autonomy

Why banality?

Your spirit/soul (who you feel like at your very core), that has been housed in your body will finally become free of it's bodily limits, and will continue on, in a reality that is more real and beautiful than what we experience now, here on earth....not unlike one of your more beautiful sparkling dreams.

"oh death, where is thy sting? oh grave, where is thy victory?"

My choice of banality was within the context of observation and reflection upon participation and interactions observed on a variety of forums.
It was intended to intrigue;to jar the spirit and mind.

All of this of course was projected in that moment that I posted from a place of human bondage at least from a thought perspective, the goal being;the lament for autonomy.

Thank you for your inspiring and thoughtful response.

reflecting on why we particpate in this venue of communication with people from all over, and what we leave as an imprint on the daily path we walk among others isn't always a satisfying or proud moment reflected in the mirror.

so easy to get caught up in and encourage the banality, leaving shallow footprints in the sands of time...when what is hoped or longed for is deeper trenches dug closer to the root of understanding and communion.

thank you too for your response.

Your statement strikingly echoes throughout the core of humanity and certainly mirrors my own.

I had hoped that by leaving the original message carved on a tree at the edge of the vast wilderness as a invitation to others should they happen to pass this way.

I have had several profound experiences of imagination, dreams and consciousness over the years.

Your contribution lends evidence to the value and quality of connection that can be shared in a instsant.

Thank you.

The pleasure was all mine, as it is a rare occurence in this dark forest to run across a tree, carved with the same inflection of consciousness, that mirrors one's own. winking72.gif

back to your mention of banality...it brings to mind the word 'squander' .

Yes.

Crouching low on haunches, silent;gazing intently upon the village firelight.

Still;relaxed.

Stars overhead,cool forest soil below.

Meditating on 'squander'.

Cool thread, and I agree with the viewpoints presented. I wish others could see it, but if it was presented to the entire board, very certainly others would shit on it. I shall return for more .................thank you

Not directed at you Woo, but it would be nice to speak openly and unhindered.
