Sorry it's taking so long between pages. Things have been kind of hectic lately.

I see you're working on your shadowing/inking.
Somewhat Kirby-esque.
Over all the images are getting much better as it progresses.

Wow. You art is really improved. Looks good! thumb.gif

(I don't want to be critical... but as a reader, the print is starting to look tacky and too thin against the beautiful art. Do you have a thicker pen/pencil for the lettering? Maybe all caps?)

Don't be shy.
The criticism is my quickest path to improvement.

I'll see what I can do to improve the lettering on the next one.

Thanks. :)

Well the artwork is really very impressive. You have talent, a special gift. I am surprised because you seem so smart about science and things - I never thought of you as artistic. I remember you trying to have conversations with us lesser beings about physics, astrophysics and math, and no one could talk to you.

I read the text while it was huge, then it snapped down to fit the page and I cannot read it at all. Can you see that?

Like Ganghis said, you should be able to click on it to see it much bigger.

Thanks for the compliments, but it really is more just good instruction and practice, than it is talent.
Most people are only 10,000 bad drawings away from being an artist.
(I've still got a lot left, but getting a little closer every day)

As far as the science side goes, I'm sort of a weird person that is neither left nor right brained.
(I've taken the tests a few times in collage as part of some psychology courses, and always scored right down the middle.)

It means I'm supposed to be good at being creative in a structured/analytical way.

I count myself very lucky to have a job doing R&D and design engineering.
Partly because it's a lot of fun, and partly because I'd probably suck at doing anything else.

The drawing is mostly just a way for me to relax.
At the end of the day, I need a chance to be creative in a way that doesn't need to pass fatigue testing, or is scrutinized on an electron microscope.

It sort of balances out my head. :)
