I will eat most anything that passes the sniff test well beyond the expiry date.
A friend of mine got an unexpected gig yesterday.
The booking agent had to call him 4 times before he could convince him that it wasn't an April Fools gag.

Yes, he has not only been practicing, but he has been arranging a new album so he had lots of original songs ready.
