The Gnostic Gospels were found in 1945. Edgar Cayce said seventy years ago that after 1945 many former Atlantean souls would be incarnating in the North American Continent. This find, guaranteed, that the generation born after 1945, would be the first one to have access to these eye opening documents.

After the establishment of the Roman Church, in the third century, the bishops were given full police backing and the call of heresy allowed them to confiscate all texts not aligning with the official policy of Church dogma . A monk hid these Gospels in a jar, in Upper Egypt where they remained for 1600 years until the discovery in 1945.

The Christians who hidden these books risks their lives because death became the penalty for disagreement with the Church. The Gnostic Christians took the name from gnosis, which literally means “he knows me” and it was their belief that it was self-knowledge which was the path to knowledge of God. According to the Gnostic teacher Theodotus, who lived one hundred and fifty years after the death of Jesus, “the Gnostic is one who has come to understand who we are, as well as what we have become. Also he knows where we were and where we are going, as well as that from which we will be realeased. He knows what birth is and rebirth are.”
Gnosis taught that to know oneself, is to know nature and know God. If one investigates love, sorrow, and hate within the self, they will find God within themselves. The difference in the Roman Church philosophy and the Gnostic Christians was that the Church taught God was outside of themselves and the Gnostics saw that the self and the Divine were identical.

One reason why the Gnostic teachings were called heresy was because the Gnostic Jesus revealed in the Gnostic texts, speaks of illusion and enlightenment, while the official Church texts stressing sin and repentance.

These texts reveal the intrinsic unworthiness preached in the Roman Church was a distortion. The Gnostic Gospels reveal, that when one reaches enlightenment, that the student and the teacher merge, and Jesus and that person become identical.

When Edgar Cayce had his out of body experiences he obtained information which aligns not with the official Church version of Jesus but with the Gnostic Christ. Cayce said that the Christ would be born within hearts. Here is a quote from the Gospel of Thomas.

“Jesus said, “I am not your master. Because you have drunk from the bubbling stream from my mouth, you will become as I am. I will become you and you shall know all the hidden things.”

From the first to the second century diversity of Christian thought was a fact of life and many Christians lived simple, communal lives, and sharing with emphasis on community service. There was freedom to have a difference of opinion, with radically different views were common. But beginning in the third century, the Roman Church had begun demanding uniformity and teaching, there was no salvation outside the Roman Church. Their form of Christianity would rule with the sword and with fear.

All traces of the Gnostic teachings were erased by men called ‘the correctors’, who edited texts not agreeing with the official version.

When the Reformation came about all knowledge of the Gnostic teachings had been destroyed or like the ones found in 1945, were hidden. The Bible went forward in history little changed from the original official version.

There are no accidents in the universe and all things happen with purpose. The fact that the missing pieces of the Bible are back just in time for the last generation to finally put them together, has purpose. Now we can pick up the missing frames from the cutting room floor and understand what Jesus meant when he said that the ones who becomes like him would become him.

From the Gospel According to Mary Magdalene:

Chapter 4

(Pages 1 to 6 of the manuscript, containing chapters 1 - 3, are lost. The extant text starts on page 7...)

. . . Will matter then be destroyed or not?

22) The Savior said, All nature, all formations, all creatures exist in and with one another, and they will be resolved again into their own roots.

23) For the nature of matter is resolved into the roots of its own nature alone.
