You must believe that you have an inner teacher before you can find that one. Seeking to understand the symbolism; seeing the archetypes of your mind, uncovers, the teacher. The language of spirit is analogies. It is the seeking the higher mind, you seek, the teacher within.

The wise teacher, only responds to the knock of a sincere seeker. The door only opens to the one who stands persistently and asks in humility to have that ancient door opened. If you seek for any other reason other than the love of truth you will not be admitted. Every human exists within the illusions of life and without this teacher, the self lies cannot be found and replaced with self truth.

The teacher, will not hold back and spare your feelings, for lies can only fall in the glaring light of truth.

Be prepared to come into his presence and become naked, because he will not allow you to remain in your garments, which cover your true motives. Remove them in front of him because he sees beneath them anyway, and knows all the times you hid your true motives and blamed others for your choices. Self- justification must drop away. When you hear yourself admit your own life is composed of your own choices then you will face the teacher without anything between you. You will return to the naked truthful state you were born in.

Now you will see that your free will has led you to wherever you are, and for the first time look at your choices without filters. Seek each memory of the past, as the teacher takes your hand to shine his lamp of truth on your life path. Find the repeating themes in your life. Ask for assistance as you will find the patterns and trace them like a spiral back to their origins.

Your fears take many grotesque forms. The teacher will assist you to remove their masks to find their power has come from your belief in them. You are an eternal being and not what you have been told you are. Now find the lies about yourself and rid yourself of false concepts. Forgive yourself for believing such ignorance and forgive those who helped build such an incorrect image. You must now demolish this edifice within your mind and replace it with a tower of truth, which is your true shining image.

Such an image, was built up upon the opinions of others you trusted, but who proved to be the blind, leading the blind.

Liberally forgive all who helped you build the wobbling tower of misconception. Forgive them their part, because holding on to the past will retard your progress.

You will see your life as one long journey of many levels and steps. You will see the times you disappointed yourself and the times you were disappointed. See only the distilled wisdom in each event. There are doors the teacher will show you. One is marked guilt, one fear, revenge, judgement, one shame, hate, anger and each of them a key will magically appear in your hand and you are told to unlock each door and release all pain. For you hold to key, the teacher does not.
Bravely walk the corridors of your own mind, opening long closed doors and feel the warm sun on your face, instead of the dark, dank chambers of your own self prison because the holding of such emotions becomes a malignant cancer to the soul. After each release you will feel lighter and more buoyant.

This is a private introduction to your inner world and only you and the teacher can tread these halls. You will learn many things, which will bring you to cleansing forgiving tears, as well as some astonishing things, but never turn away from the truth within you.

Once you tear down the old, you must replace it with the new, this time built to your specifications instead of constructed out of misconceptions, the shifting foundations of the beliefs of other minds.

This does not happen in one session but over many sessions. The more you visit the teacher the stronger his voice will become and more rapidly you will progress in the construction of the temple fit for the spirit to enter, an abode of light and truth. Leave no dark places undiscovered.

Building Up the Temple

These are of course all archetypes and metaphors, but this is the language of spirit and you must learn this language to find the secrets hidden within you and to see the illusions in life.

At first this will seem strange as all things will seem upside down. This is because you live in a world estranged from spirit and steeped in self-delusion.

Accept all things that are. Accept life as you find it, making no judgements of the paths of others. You have enough to do to watch your own path. The one who continually looks at the life paths of others in judgement, is using their missteps, as a way of distracting himself from his own missteps. Build your own temple because you cannot build the temple of another. He must do that himself.
If you build it strong and true then it will withstand any storm life can churn up. Those who tell you to stop building your temple, and reform the world instead, have not found their inner path and do not understand the passing scene of the world. Do not become wise in your own eyes and arrogant. This will retard your progress. Many lessons of life are hidden from your eyes and the one who falls into judgement, falls into a deep pit.

Do not look to the physical things, which are transitory and illusionary. Look to the intangible, and do not ascribe value to valueless things.

Examine the light and dark within you and balance them. Make your love of self, equal with love for others. Keep this balance, for this is your level and straight edge, and without this, your temple will lean to one side. Neither, employ, the twin towers of dual thinking to build your temple, but discard the two and replace it with one.

Make love your mortar. Make truth your bricks, and then you will have a fit place, swept clean, bright and lit with hope eternal. This is the reason you have an inner teacher, to guide you, and assist you in building, not a stone temple, but one made of flesh and blood.

Such metaphors are powerful tools of transformation. The connection of the lower mind to the higher mind (the teacher) is by a chain of analogies. By studying and understanding such symbols you are taught how to reconnect to the Mind of the Logos, and ultimately to replace the mind of the Adam with the Mind of the Logos; thus the long awaited kingdom is born within.
