November 4
Before leaving Aries at 11:05 AM EST, the Moon forms a trine to both Saturn and Pluto in the early hours of the day. Situations that require us to keep a cool head will work out well now. We are not easily swept away by our feelings for the time being, enabling us to effectively tend to business. A lost item may be found or a new insight into a nagging problem grabs hold of us now. It's easier to employ strategy, and we tend to read between the lines rather than accept life at face value. This is a time to engage in some sort of transformation in which we weed out the bad in order to more effectively use the good. At 11:05 AM EST, the Moon enters Taurus. We are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulses are to relax, resist change, and "stop to smell the roses". Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness and materialism under this influence. The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter are all in Scorpio, and Taurus is Scorpio's opposite sign. Tomorrow, the Full Moon in Taurus will allow us to learn through the art of contrasts, pitting Scorpio against Taurus, but searching for a balance.
Glad of the sign change, early this morning was rough.

Full Moon in Taurus

Taurus is a show-me sign; a grounded, earthy, full-body experience. The Moon in Taurus is a big reminder that it is our actions here on earth which matter most for bringing an end to the suffering and pain humans cause each other, our animal and plant brothers and sisters, and our collective Mother, the Earth. How we walk through life, how we treat other life forms makes the difference between ignorance and enlightenment.
What the Moon in Taurus wants most to convey is the message that all the wisdom of the universe is already present in your body; particularly in the human brain. There is nowhere to go, nothing higher than the multileveled intricacy of the brain we have each been gifted. Enlightenment is ever-present; lying dormant, waiting for each of us to awaken, through meditation, the totality of the pre-frontal lobe's synaptic connections. Sun/Venus/Mars trining Uranus, and the deeply compassionate, loving and spiritual Moon square to Neptune and sextile to Uranus, make this an especially powerful Full Moon to gather with others and commit to realizing your birthright: an enlightenment that is embodied, selfless, and deeply committed to ending the physical suffering of all other sentient beings.
Let's start by reminding ourselves that Taurus, the sign opposite Scorpio, tells us that life doesn't have to be so intense; a great reminder for this particular Full Moon which is opposing a hefty group of planets in "too-hot-to-handle" Scorpio: Sun (identity) /Mars (action) /Venus (love) /Mercury (thinking and communication)/ and Jupiter. Taurus wishes us a life that is beautiful, warm, soft, loving, and sensual; one filled with the pleasures of family and friends, good food, beautiful surroundings, great music and art, and all things that help soothe and heal anxiety and worry.
I can hear all the Scorpios out there murmuring under their breath, "So what pain do I have to endure in order to have that kind of pleasure?" And this is Scorpio problem in a nutshell: attachment to suffering and victimology. This is the Full Moon to consider the possibility of letting go of that particular cognitive distortion. Don't worry, there will lots more time to work seriously on this issue during the next New Moon. I'll write much more on this topic in the next New Moon Message.
Taurus rules basic survival and hence, security: personal security, homeland security, and global security. Taurus fears starvation, sickness, lack of shelter and comfort. This is why it craves security, possessions and comfort; and once gotten, holds them so tightly. The best way I know of to ensure survival is to think bigger than just your own needs and give generously to others. The Full Moon in Taurus is the time to face personal and national selfishness and greed. America is the richest nation in the world; our comforts run counter to the glaring poverty all around us. We have allowed our government to do terrible things around the globe to ensure our survival. What America wants and what it needs are two different things. Yes we need to celebrate our own self-worth and enliven self-confidence, but self-worth does not come from how much power, control and wealth we have; rather from how much we selflessly give away.
The Full Moon in Taurus enlivens our sense of responsibility to caretake our planet and its inhabitants. Reconsider the importance of your needs and desires in light of how they impact the environment. Maybe this year, you'll take those fallen leaves and start a compost pile instead of putting them in plastic bags and sending them to your local dump. How about setting up a bird feeder for the winter? How about taking ten dollars of your income every month and sending it to your favorite environmental organization? It is our job to protect Mother Earth and her inhabitants.
I am talking about total embodiment of love, here on earth, with your partner, your kids, your neighbors and their kids, your parents, your friends and their friends, your enemies, your community, your schools, your coworkers, your customers, your government, our government's friends and supposed enemies, every person in every nation, every tree, plant, animal, body of water, rock, mountain, bird, planet, star, solar system, galaxy, every one of the multiple universes, and everything that could possibly exist in all possible existences. Wrap your mind around that, then let go and open into partnership with all our relations!
This is not the usual Taurus Full Moon celebration of sitting in a hot bath, making a great meal and relaxing all night. Use the day and get radical! Make sure you commit to vote on Tuesday, November 7. No excuses: every vote counts to effect change in our government. Volunteer and arrange carpools to help needy voters get to the polls.
Or stop in at a homeless shelter and cook for the hungry, go door to door and campaign for your favorite candidate or ballot initiative, go to a hospital and sit with the sick, go to a hospice and comfort the dying. Visit a military family that has a loved one serving indefinitely in Iraq, or has needlessly lost a son, daughter, husband, father, wife, mother, in the war. Then tell me that your life is hard. Rise up out of victimology and help those who suffer most in this world.
Don't wait for things to get so bad that we have nothing left. Change now, get involved, do something that serves someone other than you, and I guarantee your heart will open and surrender into a love that can heal every dark place in your psyche, your body, your heart, and by extension all the dark places within the global psyche, body and heart.
We can all rise to this occasion, while remaining embodied and connected to all other life.

The Moon is in Cancer until 9:35 PM EST, and forms a trine to Venus and then Jupiter in Scorpio today. These are favorable influences for scheduling dates, beauty treatments, pleasurable outings, decorating the home (or body!), music, the arts, gatherings, and for love in general. Happy feelings, the desire to "do good" and to honor our inner code, and faithfulness are in focus. We are more tuned in to the "big picture" and less inclined to worry over details. At 9:35 PM, the Moon moves from cozy, introspective Cancer to outgoing Leo. Warmth, generosity, pride, and a sense for the dramatic are hallmarks of a Leo Moon.
The Moon is void from 3:59 PM EST, with the Moon's last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Leo at 9:35 PM.
November 11
The Moon is in proud Leo all day. Mercury conjuncts Mars, and the desire to act on our ideas is with us now. This is generally a good energy for debate or energetic mental work. We may be called upon to make a decision, but it may be a hasty, ill-considered one--particularly considering that Mercury is retrograde. We may be argumentative and irritable under this influence, and particularly impatient with vagueness. Be careful to avoid cutting words and aggressive driving or use of machinery. We may tend to try to win intellectual points, and possibly at the expense of others' feelings. Our minds may be especially active, and this can be a good time to eliminate wasteful activities. This influence excites and over-stimulates the whole nervous system.

The energies of the day are rather challenging. The Scorpio Sun squares off with the Leo Moon midday. This Last Quarter Moon phase points to some sort of crisis of consciousness. After basking in the awareness symbolized by the full light of the Moon at the time of last week's Full Moon, we disperse our knowledge and come to a point when we need to sort out what works for us—and what doesn't—in preparation for next week's New Moon, when something new is born once again. This is not the best time to start a major project, as the decreasing light of the Moon symbolizes a descent into unconsciousness. It's time to begin finishing up the details of that which was conceived at the last New Moon on October 22nd. Venus also squares Saturn today, and gaining what we want is challenging due to negative attitudes and the tendency to need more than what is possible. Difficulties socializing with others stem from an increased sensitivity to rejection as well as stiffness with the affections. Spontaneity is missing just now. Emotional distance in relationships is very possible. Avoid new financial undertakings under this influence, as they may prove to be "money pits" as time passes.

Stop, look and listen!
Problems and mini-crises can suddenly appear on your horizon due to the arrival of the Last Quarter Sun-Moon Phase (activating 21 degrees of Scorpio-Leo at 12:46PM EST).
Cut through obstacles that you see developing on mental and even spiritual levels of awareness. Soul-searching is definitely back in style.
This is amplified to a high degree later on when Venus squares Saturn from Scorpio to Leo (7:21PM) and the Moon makes its monthly conjunction with Saturn in Leo (9:29PM).
It's hard to sugarcoat these cosmic alignments and claim they are somehow assets. They are more suggestive of a turn toward pessimism and doubt in regard to romance, business and career matters.
Nevertheless, it is always possible to tweak the energies in your favor and come out smelling like a rose in the process. A grounded, practical and commonsense approach in these areas of life may lead you to a surprising victory or milestone.
Hit the psychology or metaphysical books this evening while the Moon forms a friendly trine with Pluto in Sagittarius (10:52PM).
Steer clear of making big overnight decisions due to a nearly 5-hour void lunar cycle that begins at 3:30AM tomorrow.

If you hang in there and stay focused, this can be an excellent start to the workweek.
Here's why. After the Moon in Leo enters a void cycle from 3:30AM EST to 8:20AM, the lunar orb enters earthy and meticulous Virgo.
It's time to be more organized and industrious across the board. Clean-up campaigns are in gear and you are advised to transform yourself into an efficiency master.
What may cause some consternation and confusion during the morning hours is a Mars-Neptune parallel formation (8:17AM).
The more favorable side of this rapport is to increase your persuasive charms and magnetism.
The best news of the day arrives in two doses when Mercury in Scorpio trines Uranus in Pisces (12:29PM) and Venus parallels Jupiter (1:52AM Tuesday).
The Mercury-Uranus harmonious sky pattern offers you waves of mental illumination -- not just in the morning, but throughout the day. Ingenious ideas are pervasive.
The Venus-Jupiter parallel is a potential cornucopia of happiness, wealth and contentment across the board. Be more eager to handle your investments with finesse and aplomb. In addition, this Venus-Jupiter rapport is actually a stalking horse for their conjunction in the zodiac that happens on Wednesday.
Enjoy board, card or word games this evening under the aegis of Virgo Moon.

New Moon in Scorpio
Monday, November 20, 2006 2:18pm PST

I hope you can all clearly see the direct impact the Mars/Sun/Mercury/Venus/Jupiter conjunction in Scorpio had upon the powerful transformation (Scorpio) directed by an awakened, truth-seeing, and fed up American public on election day Nov. 7, 2006. What a complete joy to watch the American people rise up like a phoenix reborn and speak in one voice to overthrow the morally bankrupt Republican regime in Congress, thereby castrating the power of the White House to set the agenda. I even enjoyed the post-mortem humble pie fest that our President engaged in the following day as he bid farewell to Rummie. This long 6 year bout with powerlessness has come to an end, and once again, in America, we can have faith that when the American people decide to take action, our democratic system actually works in their favor. Let's hope the Democrats stay focused, act positively, and make change happen for the better.
So everyone, what broken down, unhealthy aspects of your life are you ready to overthrow? The New Moon in Scorpio is the perfect time to put muscle behind an intention to break systemic delusions that exist in our personal lives. So how about if we all take a deep breath, muster up some courage, and gracefully greet this New Moon in Scorpio with the intention to open our eyes to our own failures, negativities and self-delusions.
And boy do we have some powerful help this year! Mars/Mercury/Sun/Moon/Jupiter are all in Scorpio, trine the North Node in transcendent Pisces, and square a serious self-directed Saturn in Leo. Blissful Jupiter will be at its critical 29th degree, poised to move joyously into its own sign, Sagittarius, on November 24th. Sun/Moon/Jupiter in Scorpio are conjunct a heart-opening and amazingly generous, Venus in Sagittarius. It's almost like a victory march of the planets through these last few degrees of Scorpio. And hopefully the intensity of ritual work that usually characterizes a New Moon in Scorpio will be accompanied by a feeling of coming home to our essential goodness.
Sometimes referred to as Lunar Samhain, the New Moon in Scorpio is a night when the veil is thin between the living and the spirit world. Great insights can be gained on this night through contact with spirit teachers: be they animal, mineral, angelic, or ancestral. Open your mind to the wisdom that flows from the other side. You may even find you have a new set of cosmic helpers after this New Moon ritual! Scorpio is the sign that seeks deep truth in all things.
The New Moon in Scorpio is the night to acknowledge the ways this questioning process manifests in your life. This is the most serious New Moon of the year. This is the night of truth and dare. Dare to be truthful with yourself and the rewards of this ritual will come back tenfold. The planetary aspects mentioned above will definitely heighten the intensity of your ritual, as well as actions taken in support of your intentions during the two week waxing phase of the Moon. The Sun/Moon/Jupiter in Scorpio symbolizes our egoic and emotional need to be in control and maintain a position of power. Mars and Mercury in Scorpio lend the influence of truthful action and deep thought to uncover and strip away the layers of lies we tell ourselves in order to protect our own selfish interests. Truth-telling will be quite a task on this New Moon in Scorpio.
However, the trine to the North Node in Pisces reminds us that this is night to commit to truth-telling with compassion and love. Use a mirror in your ritual. Take a long look at yourself; go all the way inside your skin, inside your mind, inside your heart. Are you doing and saying things that create fear, alienation, dissatisfaction, and despair in others? What thoughts and actions have you put energy into that are now coming back to haunt you? Are you supporting people that create pain and suffering for you and for others? Are you too afraid to deal with them properly or let them go all together?
Look at your fear, where it comes from, what makes it worse and what eases it. This is the optimal night to face your fear head on and make a commitment to letting go of unhealthy and tortuous relationships, jobs, behavior, and habits. A New Moon in Scorpio shows you the truth, shows you your vulnerabilities, and your powerlessness. But it also gives you the strength to let go of destructive behavior patterns, make changes, and learn to be powerful in a positive life-supporting way.
Use your ritual to journey to the depths of your soul. And don't think this will be some kind of new-agey joyride! If you are real with yourself and dive deep into the core of your unconscious, this will be challenging and scary. If you brave the murky depths you will arrive at that sacred place beyond fear, pain and illusion. There are many ways to do this, but on a New Moon in Scorpio it is best to work in the dark. Indigenous people use drums and ritual dance to induce a transpersonal state of consciousness. You can try this with a partner who drums while you journey, or use recorded shamanic drumming. Some people gaze into a scrying mirror or a bowl of water to induce a trancelike state. For some visualization or meditation is enough. There are many plants that can alter or heighten your awareness. Use them with knowledge and respect. This is not recreation.
More than ever, it is all about intention on this New Moon The Scorpio New Moon is a night to strip yourself bare and release your pretensions. Relinquish all you are, all you have, and all you wish to be. Let go of your attachment to suffering: pain, violence, resentment, hatred, judgments, and indecisiveness. This is the night to fearlessly take responsibility for your own condition and the condition of your loved ones. When it comes down to it we always have some modicum of control over our circumstances. Even in our darkest hour, it is up to us to make change where we can, and where we can't, rise to the occasion and make the best of a bad situation.
Scorpio forces us to recognize our relative insignificance in the big scheme of things, but it demands that we take responsibility for the tremendous impact we have on what happens in the world. This is the true meaning of power. Scorpio knows it has the power to change, though it is the improper use of this power that often becomes problematic.
There are many great teachers of power to be found in the plant, animal, and spirit worlds. Seek their wisdom and their healing energy in your ritual. They will be your guides as you peel back the layers of fear and false pretense to arrive at the stark naked truths of your life.
But please don't leave yourself hanging in the dark depths! Scorpio rules death and rebirth and New Moons are always a time of new beginnings. Active rebirth from the womb of wisdom is a pivotal part of this ritual; you are not done until this has been completed. It is important to rest after your journey within. Calm and soothe yourself with a hot bath, sit in front of a fire and have a light snack. Use this time to reflect on the truths and the lessons you were shown. When you are rested, go back to your ritual area and give yourself time to document your journey. If you need to, call back your spirit guides to help you in this process. Write down or create a visual representation of the wisdom you received and clearly delineate newly conceived goals or action plans. Scorpio empowers projects and goals that require real commitment to your truth, and as you well know these are the hardest to achieve.
Here's to your New Moon in Scorpio journey into the Plutonic underworld and your successful rebirth into wholeness, transformation and greater wisdom.

The Moon is in Libra all day, emphasizing relationships as our focal point. We are more gracious, accommodating, and compromising when the Moon is in harmony-seeking Libra. Learning the delicate art of relating is Libra's pleasure.
We should avoid the trap of being "people pleasers", however, in order to try to keep the peace. Tonight, the Sun squares Saturn, which could put a damper on things. As we face obstacles to our goals, we begin to see the tools with which we have to overcome them. A heavy dose of realism seems forced upon us under this influence, but our efforts to measure up to expectations can ultimately increase our confidence in our ability to be responsible for ourselves. This influence is a somber one. It's better not to take ourselves too seriously now.

Yesterday's magnificent combination of Mars-Pluto strength and Venus-Jupiter sensitivity is now beginning to dissipate.
In their places are a more cautious and conservative dual sky pattern -- composed of the Sun moving 45 degrees to Juno (3:39PM PST) and the Sun squaring Saturn (10:00PM PST).
Of the two, the Sun-Saturn clash is clearly the one that carries the most import. You want to be more circumspect about giving out vital information to sales clerks and telemarketers. Keep your composure in affairs of the heart and avoid depressing thoughts like the plague.
The Sun-Saturn encounter doesn't have to turn into a downer as it also suggests your ability to rise to the occasion and handle career matters like a pro. Don't let anyone steal your thunder on the work front.
A Pallas-Mars sextile from Capricorn to Scorpio (10:20PM PST) helps you stay on course with vital business matters.
The Moon in Libra keeps your love bonds reasonably stable while Venus prepares to shift from passionate Scorpio to enthusiastic Sagittarius (exact at 12:03AM PST tomorrow).
Be aware that Mercury is on the verge of turning direct tomorrow following three weeks of retrograde motion.

The Moon is in gracious Libra all day, and balancing our lives is more important to us. Venus enters Sagittarius--the first of the planets that have been in Scorpio for the last few weeks to leave the sign. Romantic energy shifts from intense (Scorpio) to buoyant (Sagittarius). Sagittarius, of course, has its intense moments, considering it is a fire sign. However, its energy is considerably less focused; and, while Scorpio is most concerned with intimacy with a specific person, Sagittarius' love is of a more universal kind. Romantic adventures, as well as a straightforward--even blunt--approach to love, are on the agenda. Gone are the intricacy and complexity of Venus in Scorpio. Truth and higher meaning are things that take priority with Sagittarius. Mercury turns direct today after approximately three weeks of retrogradation. Over the next couple of weeks, Mercury-ruled areas of our lives will begin to approach normal, whatever "normal" means to us. Caution is still in order, however, particularly with Mars in square to Neptune today. Inspiration comes from unusual sources, but we can have a hard time staying focused and organized. Energy may be variable. Intuition is strong, but may be faulty. This is not a good time to begin a new project or affair.

There is no rest for the weary!
Even though the lunar orb remains in void condition in Libra until 9:48AM EST, you need to contend with another major reality coming down the pike -- the shift from retrograde to direct motion of the revolutionary planet Uranus on Sunday night. While this turnaround by Uranus doesn't officially occur until 1:10AM Monday morning, a brief glance at an astrological ephemeris will clearly show that this celestial body connected to unpredictability and uncertainty is virtually stationary.
Follow the motto -- expect the unexpected -- throughout the entire weekend. Inspirations can flash through your mind like fiery meteors dashing into the Earth's atmosphere.
Mysteries and secrets can be revealed -- courtesy of the Moon's entrance into passionate Scorpio (9:48AM). Don your Perry Mason outfit and solve enigmas. You can enhance your skills as an amateur detective or psychologist.
Emotional thunderstorms can arrive without warning close to the exact times of the following three lunar parallels: Moon parallel Neptune (6:31PM), Pluto (7:56PM), and Mars (11:22PM).
You can also utilize the first two times to meditate for clarity and delve into your spiritual studies.
Review your dietary needs Sunday as Venus moves 45 degrees to Pallas (12:29AM ). Add nutritional supplements and healing herbs that can support your immune system.
Spend several hours focused on a beloved hobby or craft this evening.

If you sense that your mind is working overtime in solving personal or relationship problems, join the club. Millions of people are trying to sort out what's going on in the mental sphere of life during the monthly Moon-Mercury union in Scorpio (4:02AM EST). Write down inspirations in a special journal during the morning hours.
Competitive sports are on the agenda as the Moon also makes its monthly conjunction with Mars (10:40PM). In addition to the usual team athletics try your luck at darts, pool, bowling or tennis.
As mentioned yesterday, the big event clocks in tomorrow at 1:10AM when Uranus ceases its reverse motion, makes a station and turns direct (11 degrees of Pisces).
All Uranus themes -- radical change and revolutionary ideas, the multi-media, computers and high technology, intuition and genius, metaphysics and astrology, the future and avant-garde, the nervous system and anxiety, uncertainty, shocks and surprises -- are emphasized now and in the next day or two.
Don't take anyone for granted. Be ready for topsy-turvy situations and lightning-like realizations coming out of left field.
Many breakthroughs are possible, but steer clear of breakdowns that can put you on the sidelines for recuperation.
This is also the 'dark of the Moon' cycle in which the lunar orb is in an extreme waning cycle. Finish old business that you have been working on during the past four weeks.

There's no need to be in a giant rush this morning since the New Moon won't happen until 5:19PM EST - energizing 29 degrees of Scorpio.
Utilize the early hours to complete odd jobs and run minor errands.
Bring love bonds and primary partnerships back into positive alignment while Juno in Libra makes an awkward, 150-degree link with Uranus in Pisces (4:51PM).
Once the new Moon occurs, you can make a great leap forward in your main fields of expertise. This is magnified during the monthly Moon-Jupiter union (6:55PM). Moon-Jupiter conjunctions can coincide with an increase in good fortune and wealth creation.
However, this time also begins a void lunar cycle lasting until 8:16PM when the Moon enters ebullient Sagittarius. After it does, you can zero in on literary endeavors, publishing efforts and educational goals.
The love boat sails for exotic ports of call this evening as three alignments by Venus are waiting in the wings and will reach exactitude in the early morning hours of Tuesday.
Golden opportunities in business and professional matters are about to appear on the horizon tomorrow as the Sun reaches its annual union with giant Jupiter.

Strike while the iron is hot.
This can be a superlative day in your life, work, creativity and relationships as Venus and Jupiter back your efforts.
Venus makes a flowing quintile aspect of 72 degrees to Neptune (6:05AM EST), the Moon conjuncts Venus in Sagittarius (6:08AM), and Venus links via a productive sextile to Chiron in Aquarius (8:46AM).
If erotic impulses arise for you this morning, it is undoubtedly due to the magnetic nature of the traditional planet of love. Go shopping for clothing, art and furniture under this series of auspicious alignments.
There is an even better sky pattern in the afternoon when the Sun and Jupiter merge in the last degree of Scorpio (6:17PM).
Good vibrations are pervading the psychic atmosphere throughout the entire day. What you set in motion now -- in a favorable manner -- may come back to you as a reward many times multiplied in the days, weeks and months to come.
Energize the power of positive thinking to the hilt.
Sports, fun and games are a delight while the Moon travels through upbeat Sagittarius. Read a bestseller or literary classic as Mercury moves 45 degrees to Pluto (1:43AM tomorrow) and nears a flowing trine to Uranus (exact tomorrow morning at 9:52AM).

The universe doesn't often provide nearly 48 hours of cosmic support, but that is pretty much the situation as you have another full day of euphoric Sagittarius Moon on the agenda.
Adding to the excitement and stimulation is the Sun entering fiery Sagittarius (6:03AM EST) followed by a flowing Mercury-Uranus trine in water signs (9:52AM).
This is one of the great mornings to count your blessings, plan for the future and keep an open mind about educational, business or career pursuits.
The Mercury-Uranus rapport is a boon for reading, writing, research and library work. Consider signing up for a conference or seminar. Make plans for a vacation or weekend getaway.
Challenges may start to appear once the Moon unites with distant Pluto (8:20PM) triggering a void lunar cycle that lasts until 4:26AM tomorrow. Go with the flow this evening and enjoy friendly sharings. Don't take yourself so seriously.
By tomorrow evening, Jupiter enters its home sign of Sagittarius for the first time in 12 years. Make sure you are in a good mood and positive mind-set by the time Thursday evening rolls around.

Take the good with the bad and keep on trucking as a new workweek gets underway.
There will definitely be opportunities to move forward, but you need to slow down your pace in the morning hours as the Moon in Aquarius begins a void cycle at 8:01AM EST that lasts until 3:22PM. Finish old business during this 7 hour twilight zone, but don't launch new enterprises.
Once the lunar orb enters Piscean waters (3:22PM), you can be more generous to the truly needy and disenfranchised. Put yourself into another person's shoes and see the world from their eyes.
Breakthroughs are possible in affairs of the heart -- courtesy of a Venus-Juno sextile from Sagittarius to Libra (12:41PM) and Sun-Chiron sextile from Sagittarius to Aquarius (7:33PM).
The trouble spot of the day arrives fairly late during the First Quarter Sun-Moon Phase (1:30AM ) activating 6 degrees of Sagittarius and Pisces.
During any quarter Moon cycle, be prepared for a mini-crisis or challenge that needs to be ameliorated and resolved.

Do you like rollercoaster rides? If so, then this is your kind of day.
On the other hand, if you are scared of heights and turbulence, stay calm and mellow at all costs.
The celestial shenanigans begin early during the monthly Moon-Uranus union in Pisces (10:01AM EST).
Uncertainty is in the catbird seat and nervous tension is pervasive.
On the positive side, the lunar conjunction with Uranus can bring you amazing insights that transfigure your view of the world.
Strive to be on an even keel emotionally and mentally during the afternoon and evening hours when shock waves of a different kind begin to manifest. Mercury squares Neptune (7:55PM) and Mars makes the same sky pattern with Saturn (10:01PM). Ouch!
A massive dose of confusion can coincide with the Mercury-Neptune encounter while extreme volatility is possible when Mars locks horns with Saturn.
Since these two alignments happen within about 2 hours, you may have your hands full with difficulties.
Use every ounce of wit and wisdom to get through this day unscathed by the rigors of life.
A mineral bath, hot tub session or whirlpool treatment can be the perfect antidote for what ails you.

If you passed yesterday's trio of tests with flying colors, give yourself five gold stars for meritorious service.
This is a good point in the Cosmic Calendar to remember that astrological alignments do not necessarily disappear one day after they occur.
Yesterday's Mercury-Neptune and Mars-Saturn altercations can still result in earthly snafus that entangle you in webs of intrigue.
Know what you are doing and where you are going.
If you don't have kind words to say to dear ones and colleagues, keep silent.
This is especially true while the Moon in Pisces enters a void cycle -- lasting from 11:30AM EST until 6:31PM. Keep a low profile during this 6-hour limbo time-period.
After 6:31PM, the Moon enters fiery Aries. Enhance your leadership credentials and put your best foot forward in business, the arts and favorite hobbies.
A flowing lunar trine to Jupiter in Sagittarius (8:43PM) gives you all the ammunition you need to make dynamic advances throughout the evening hours.
Passions may be ignited after the midnight hour as Mars in Scorpio moves 30 degrees to Pluto in Sagittarius (2:37AM ).
You can forge stronger ties with a loved one in the next 24 hours as Venus moves toward a supportive link with Neptune.

November 30
The Moon is in pioneering Aries all day, bringing with it fresh energy and harmonizing beautifully with the Sun in fellow Fire sign Sagittarius. A gut instinct to start something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity. Still, a softer influence is with us today--Venus sextiles Neptune. We are more imaginative and attuned to the world of beauty and romance today. Gentleness with others is the best way to harness this energy. A "magical" time on a romantic and social level may be found today. The Moon trines the Sun this morning and trines Venus tonight, helping to set the stage for harmonious interactions, cooperation, and general good cheer!

For the most part, there should be smooth sailing during the last day of November.
The Moon continues moving through Aries, a zodiacal sign of great vitality and power.
In addition, the Moon and Sun form a harmonious trine in fire signs (8:14AM EST) that illuminates and invigorates the morning hours.
When the cosmos is backing you up 100 percent, go with the fortunate tides and make the most of your opportunities. Nothing stands in the way of a major forward advance across the board.
Make some of your dreams come true while Mercury parallels Neptune (9:32PM) followed by a Venus-Neptune sextile (10:23PM) and flowing Moon-Venus trine (11:35PM).
You can now fan the flames of romance to your heart's content.
Be more generous with hugs and kisses.
If you and a significant other have not been seeing eye to eye, this is an evening to bury the hatchet and make up.
You can also soar like an eagle in the fine or graphic arts.
Be aware that Saturn is beginning to slow down as the beautiful ringed planet is nearing a station in Leo that will turn it retrograde on December 5. A more serious and profound vibration will be materializing on Planet Earth and within humanity as the first week of December arrives.

Emulate the tortoise over the hare right now as the Moon swings into a void-of-course cycle from 1:42PM EST until 8:27PM (when the Moon arrives in earthy Taurus).
Finish old business or run minor errands during this 7-hour twilight zone, but don't launch bold ventures.
The hours before 1:42PM look promising and productive. The big news of the day concerns one of the more subtle aspects in astrology - what is known as a septile or dividing the zodiacal circle by the number 7.
The two outermost planets - Neptune in Aquarius and Pluto in Sagittarius - form one of these alignments which puts them approximately 51 degrees apart in the zodiac. What is their cosmic message? Follow your spiritual path, meditate for clarity and peace of mind, and immerse yourself in the fields of psychology, philosophy and metaphysics.
This is also a good day to understand the interplay between world religious movements (Neptune) and the political realm (Pluto). After 8:27PM, the Moon in Taurus encourages a forward advance on the financial and fitness fronts.

Full Moon in Gemini
Monday, December 4, 2006
4:25pm PST
12º 43'
Gemini is usually thought of as a fast moving, light and airy sign; not too serious about anything yet always interested in everything. Though this is generally a lighthearted and open-minded Full Moon, this year with Jupiter, Sun, Pluto, and Venus in Sagittarius, Mars and Mercury in Scorpio, Saturn in Leo squaring Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter, and Uranus in Pisces squaring both Sun and Moon, opening up to the truth in a deeply transformative way will probably color any activities you may have planned for the evening. Don't be surprised if the most uttered word at your ritual is "why?"
The Full Moon in Gemini is supposed to be a time of freely speaking one's mind; but watch out, with overblown Jupiter, egoistic Sun, creative Venus, and ever-intense Pluto gracing Sagittarius with their presence, putting one's foot in one's mouth may be hard to avoid. On the other hand, these planets will create a tidal wave of humanitarian feelings right on schedule for the holiday season. Remember, when diversity (Gemini) and communality (Sagittarius), meet generosity (Jupiter) and love (Venus), great things (Sun) can happen to transform (Pluto) a bleak and disconnected world (Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius).
Saturn in Leo squaring Mars and Mercury in Scorpio and Jupiter in Sagittarius will challenge us to let's look fear straight in the eye and play with the possibility of changing our fixed ideas about pretty much everything we think we believe is true. Think… meaning questioning the validity of our thoughts as truth; believe... meaning allowing the free-flowing energy of the Moon in Gemini to loosen our attachment to codified, dogmatic truths.
One great way to do this is to fill the room with a variety of viewpoints. Since Full Moons are celebratory events, it's a great time for a party. Invite a wide-ranging group of people and let them experience a diverse set of opinions and ideas while having fun. (Enjoy this time when hardened distinctions between red and blue seem have blurred a bit!) Or Gemini generally likes the lighter side of things. So stick to a party centered on networking. Or in the spirit of the Moon square Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius, be a bit more daring and create an event to share and expand knowledge; like a teach-in on a subject you wish to learn more about. Show an informative video or invite a live speaker. But above all, be social. Don't sit home in isolation.
Some of you may already be sweating bullets about spending the upcoming holidays with family, which for you can be a minefield even in the best of times. So make use of Jupiter, Sun, Pluto and Venus in generous and joyful Sagittarius. Use the night to gather with people you trust and do a bit of deep sharing and healing work on old wounds. Work on healthy ways to communicate and take care of yourself in high-stress or uncomfortable situations.
The Gemini Full Moon is a great night to go through Christmas decorations or get busy making Yule logs for Solstice. Use the openness of a Gemini Full Moon to talk back to tradition by being free flowing and inventive. Get creative and let your mind run wild! What a great night to bake cookies and make presents. Bring out the craft materials, paints, exotic fabrics, papers, beads, and turn your ritual into a gift creating party! Try giving something made from the heart, or in Gemini lingo "gift that really communicates who you are."
Gemini rules writing and information. This is a great night to share in public something you have been working on in secret. A Full Moon in Gemini helps us feel like trying anything. So take a chance and get out to an open-mike performance or poetry reading. For those of you who are bit more shy, share your songs and stories with friends or loved ones. If you are far away from friends and family write that holiday, "I'll catch you up on everything that happened this year" letter or email.
But no matter how you decide to experience this Full Moon in Gemini, with so many planets in Sagittarius, we should all be singing out hearty expressions of gratefulness.

Not with that planetary line-up. Only an idiot would have a party with those aspects going on. There's bound to be at least one fist-fight.

Safety and security issues are front and center while Vesta enters Scorpio (7:32AM EST) until February 9, 2007.
Make sure kitchen appliances, stoves and fireplaces are in good working order. Is your first-aid kit well-stocked?
Are insurance policies up to date?
Make sure your valuables and investments are protected.
These concerns are amplified due to frictional associations between Mars and Jupiter (forming a parallel at 10:17AM), and Mercury and Saturn square from Scorpio to Leo at 3:08PM.
These two planetary alignments can coincide with unanticipated roadblocks, delays and frustrations across the board.
Conducting serious business negotiations under these conditions is foolish.
Despite the potency of these three sky patterns, the main event arrives at 7:26PM during the Full Moon (activating 13 degrees of Sagittarius and Gemini). [the degree of my Saturn = 13 Sag]
Individual and group meditations are recommended. Send out your healing thoughts and prayers to a struggling humanity and the kingdoms of nature. Revelations can wing through your mind like fiery meteors dashing through the night sky.
Do all in your power to cultivate an optimistic frame of mind since Saturn will be reaching its precise station and turn backward into retrograde motion within the next 24 hours.

If you are feeling more prolific and productive as the day begins, there is a celestial reason.
Venus in Sagittarius and Ceres in Aquarius form a supportive sextile (6:18AM EST).
Be a dynamo on the work front throughout the morning hours.
Tensions pick up when the Moon in Gemini opposes Pluto in Sagittarius (6:13PM) - beginning a void cycle lasting until 1:02AM EST Wednesday when the Moon enters its home sign of Cancer.
While this nearly 7-hour limbo time-period is going on, Saturn makes a station and shift retrograde (11:08PM) at 26 degrees of Leo.
Saturn remains in reverse until April 19, 2007 when it will once again shift into direct motion at 19 degrees of Leo.
Right now all Saturn themes - focus and responsibility, hard work and determination, executive authority and clout, paternal issues, chronic medical conditions and rigid structures, limits, restrictions, fear and karma - are highlighted for good or ill.
Eliminate worry, stress and self-doubts. Visualize your ability to rise to the top of the totem pole in your main field of expertise.
Heed the advice of mentors and teachers.
Note that Mars enters a new sign - Sagittarius - at 11:59PM EST.
The red planet remains in this fire sign of the zodiac until January 16, 2007.
Mars in Sagittarius points you in the direction of sports, education and realizing your lofty ideals.
Film and literary classics are back in the limelight tomorrow after the Moon enters Cancer (1:02AM ).

December 7
Venus conjuncts Pluto and trines Saturn today. Later this month, the Sun will form the same configuration with Pluto and Saturn, and then Mercury will follow suit. Passions are strong and intense, but controlled under this influence. A new sense of responsibility in our social relationships is with us, and it's of a pleasant variety--we feel renewed, committed, and dedicated. New depth and meaning can be achieved now through relationships. Solid proof of commitment gives us a deep feeling of purposefulness. An opportunity to stabilize and strengthen our social or romantic bonds arises now. Relationships are imbued with a deep sense of trust, maturity, and respect. Sincerity and depth in our interactions are most important to us. This is also a strong period for stabilizing our income and personal finances. The Moon is in Cancer all day--a heartwarming, perhaps insular, influence.
The Moon is void of course all day.

A good day.
December 8
Mercury leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius today, joining an extraordinary number of planets already in the sign (the Sun, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter). Our thinking shifts from a need to plumb the depths of any given situation to the desire to learn about a wide range of topics. Ideals are sought, our thinking is more optimistic, and our faith increases. We are more equipped to believe and to persuade. What is fair and unfair concerns us now. We tend to be more open and truthful, sometimes at the expense of others' feelings. The Moon enters fiery and proud Leo at 6:52 AM EST. We are proud and prefer to take the high road with a Leo Moon. Creativity blossoms, we tend to be more romantic and generous with our feelings, and we take pride in our accomplishments. This is certainly a feel-good, energetic day.
The Moon ends its void of course period when the Moon enters Leo at 6:52 AM EST.

ALL TIMES ARE EST
Breathe a sigh of relief following the extended void cycle that finally ends at 6:53AM with the arrival of Leo Moon.
You can be on an artistic and creative roll for the next 24-48 hours while the lunar orb basks in the sunny aura of fiery Leo.
Fun and games - particularly with children - give you a boost. Give lingering troubles and worries the boot.
Romance appears more promising than recently as the Sun in Sagittarius forms a supportive sextile association with Juno in Libra (11:45AM).
Your ability to be productive skyrockets to new heights - courtesy of a solar parallel to Ceres (12:08PM).
If you are feeling a great surge of personal power and mental strength, this may be due to an approaching triple conjunction of Mercury, Mars and Jupiter in Sagittarius.
Over the next three days, there will be a series of high-level "meetings" in the solar system between these three key planets.
Golden opportunities are definitely knocking connected to literary endeavors and research projects.
However, you need to steer clear of mental and emotional burnout that could send you yelping with your tail between your legs to the psychic doghouse.
Enjoy a night on the town this evening. Social and cultural gatherings receive the celestial thumb's-up sign.

By Mark Lerner for Astrology.com - Take advantage of an auspicious energy field early in the day. Garage sales, auctions and art fairs can be a gold mine for anyone who has a fundamental understanding of antiques, memorabilia and collectibles.
Dabble in the fine or graphic arts, film, photography, poetry and musical improvisation while the Sun in Sagittarius moves into a sextile rapport with Neptune in Aquarius (12:44PM EST).
Enjoy lunch with a partner or best friend as the Sun and Moon harmonize in fire signs (4:23PM).
The big news strikes at 9:29PM when Mercury joins forces with Mars in Sagittarius.
This is the first of a trio of sky unions involving Mercury, Mars and Jupiter between now and Monday morning.
Mercury united with Mars happens only once a year and can coincide with an increase in energy and passion for your literary output and vital communications.
However, sometimes a Mercury-Mars liaison contributes to rash acts and reckless behavior. Think carefully before entering into agreements that can backfire against you. Drive, bike, walk and run with extra care.
Two favorable alignments by Venus to Juno (4:28AM tomorrow) and Uranus (5:07AM tomorrow) - can give your romantic life a lift this evening.
